A true poet practices his craft across many forms and styles so as to stretch and flex her creative muscles. One must always be seeking growth, lest one's creative roots wither and die. For this week's retelling, I opted to express our adventure in the form of haiku. Each is a snapshot of a instant in time during our adventure. A word picture. An entire novel condensed down into 17 syllables. A lifetime expressed through a moment. If one closes their eyes after each stanza, one can clearly see the epic mural contained within.
