Strangely Shrinking City

- We gathered some treasure, got ready to roll When Fenn and Vale started to look at a scroll Which had some elaborate plan for a spell But they couldn't remember the wording too well We finally walked out of that darn cursed place And the ruins all vanished with nary a trace Some planar shenanigans must have occurred And back towards the city our party was spurred But something quite odd seemed to be going on A lot of the city's citizens were gone Some buildings were missing their names and what's more It turned out that nowhere we saw any doors A demon escorted us back to the inn We didn't know what we'd discover within But Baraxus and his stew were still waiting there This whole shrinking city thing had us quite scared We asked dear Baraxus if he had a clue About the town's whole "I'm shrinking" issue He seemed to think that there was nothing amiss Then he disappeared and Velora was pissed "You killed him" she shouted and wept as she left So Panthniper pounced in a move that was deft Velora was pinned in the jaws of the beast We all were quite stunned you could say in the least Vale cast a silence to settle the troop And some went upstairs so that we could regroup And figure out what it was we should do next And then something happened that had us all vexed From out of the shadows appeared guys in hoods And we got the sense they were up to no good They were looming behind each member of the team We started to hope this was all a bad dream
