- Juniper got an anonymous note
In beautiful cursive is how it was wrote
Rys watched his friend as she pressed up a stone
To her forehead then she entered some zone
She saw lots of trees passing by in her eyes
And learned the locations of each of these guys
And when she came back she now had in her head
Where she could find each one on Veran's Stead
Rys went asked everyone he could meet
About this new bard who was roaming his streets
With confidence he asked all those he could see
"Could this new bardpiper be better than me?!"
The bard was a Tiefling and favored the pipes
Her name was Riann and she played day and night
Like any good bard, she enjoyed pageantry
Rys feared once again, "is she better than me?"
His friends all assured him he was still the king
And that he should not fret about such a thing
But Rys thought it was time to lay down his cards
It was time for a good ol' Battle of Bards
He already of knew of this artists' next gig
He'd sneak in that place, maybe wearing a wig
And then he would declare in front of the crowd
A challenge that would ring quite far and quite loud
But first there were matters the troop must attend
He wanted to help out his group of new friends
And so they all gathered and headed with Mugs
To see if they could give her parents some hugs
It looked like Mugs house was vacant as of late
And no one knew of her parents recent fate
And just was we felt that trail had gone cold
We spoke with a half-Orc so tall and so bold
It turned out to be Mugs' mom in disguise
And she was so thrilled to meet all of us guys
And then she took us to go see Mugs' dad
And when he saw her he was awfully glad
Rys regaled everyone with some haiku
And then the reunion was finally through
And everyone set off to head to the Dregs
We wouldn't use wings, we instead would use legs
On our way to the tunnels a druidic friend
Told us to be careful or we'd meet our end
In the Dregs if we didn't go first to find Pam
And into the tunnels we went on the lamb
When we emerged we saw lots of bad slums
Primarily inhabited by some bums
I don't say this lightly, just needed rhymes
I feel bad for anyone who's hit hard times
We headed to Maple Lane fast as we could
As we had been told this was Pam's neighborhood
We saw a red dragon peak out from a shack
And then run away as if we would attack
He went and warned Pam of our whole entourage
And Pam thought she might get the heck out of dodge
We rushed in her house and we told her hello
And things went as well as such greetings could go
Since we were friendly, she welcomed us in
Then a stealthy opponent appeared with a grin
He brandished some blades as we brandished ours
And that's when our meeting with Pam went quite sour
